The Alloptic solution offers higher bandwidth than any other PON system today. Downstream traffic rates are one Gigabit per second in native-IP while upstream traffic from up to 32 optical network units travels at over 1Gigabit per second. This represents a 2:1 advantage over the closest competitor downstream, and up to an enormous 10:1 advantage upstream. More importantly, bandwidth equates to the density of provisioned units and the shortest possible ROI.

Our system insures minimal delay (no echo cancellers or Voice compression used) and fully synchronized clocks. Supporting all the standard service provider features (E911, Call Waiting, Caller ID, CLASS, Voice Mail, Meter reading, Message waiting, V.90 modems, faxing and Centrex Business features) for customary POTS services. |

Today, Alloptic's solution provides uncompressed Broadcast quality Video over IP along with RF video to all customers on the PON at the same time. Each ONU is "future proof" for high bandwidth needs by having 100M Ethernet Ports which can be traffic shaped to provide services and prices comparable to today's DSL market prices, but can be easily expand to provide for tomorrow's 10M and higher data services using only simple software commands. The ONU is designed with multiple Ethernet ports, which provide the most economical, and highest bandwidth links for Customer owned equipment of the future. |
